CHASING THE JOKE COMEDY WORKSHOP

Chasing the Joke with San Diego comic Ellen Sugarman offers a one-day workshop to help you find the funny to develop your joke. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll bring your bit to the mic and work together with Ellen and the class to make it work. All you need is a joke or premise, paper, pen, and the willingness to look at your joke from different angles. After the workshop, you can test your joke at the open mic. (As a bonus, you’ll get a chance to get a bump at the mic!)
